Reusable subsystem blocks

Sometimes I like to reuse certain 'self made' function blocks accommodated in a subsystem block.

But these blocks mostly have parameters which are 'deeply' nested, it would be handy if all those parameters could be collected and be changed from within the subsystem block.

And then storing them in some kind of a library would even be better..... :-)

Re: Reusable subsystem blocks

Hi scoobsalamander!
Thanks for your proposals. For that we have "subsystem masks". Go to menu Edit->Subsystem mask and Edit->Look under mask. Here is an example of a subsystem with mask. Hope this is what you need.

You can store such subsystems in a separate MDL file from where you can copy&paste them. It's moreorless a manual process but it can help.

Re: Reusable subsystem blocks

Thx, that looks exactly what I need..... I guess this feature isn't documented yet. :-)

Storing in different .mdl files is what I'm doing already and it works fine for me...
