M-BUS (not Modbus)

M-BUS protocol is used for meter reading - electricity, gas, heat meters etc.

On Raspberry Pi, there is a package (LibMbus) which makes it possible to read meters using that protocol via serial port, if a level converter is used.

I would like to get real time values from several meters using a Rex program. I think there is no block ready made for this, so how can I do it?

Regards
Evan

Re: M-BUS (not Modbus)

Hi Evan,

we have already answered your previous question at https://www.rexygen.com/oldforum/viewtopic.php?id=304

If our answer is not satisfying, please, specify your question. There are several ways how to integrate external script results into Rex - already mentioned in our answers.

Regards, Tomas
