Problems with REXduino

Hi,
we are having issues with the Slave files for the REXduino. We have defined the errors but can't get the Blink, exec example to load.
Do you have any updated slave files?
Do we need purchase any software to get RExduino working?
Please advise.

Thanks and regards

Re: Problems with REXduino

Hi,
the Starter licence is enough to use REXduino, that's not the problem. Here my hints and questions:

  • The up-to-date slave files can be found in the REXduino repository on GitHub.

  • Did you program your Arduino with the slave project?

  • What Arduino model are you using?

  • Does the Arduino respond to manual commands sent from the serial line monitor in Arduino IDE? Send e.g. c0; and the response should be C0;

  • What is the status of the comm_status output of the REXduino function block?

  • What error do you receive at the err_code and err_subcode outputs, if any?

  • What REXduino function block are you using?

  • What inputs/outputs are you trying to use?

  • What are the settings of your REXduino block?

Looking forward to reading your answers.

Jaroslav

Re: Problems with REXduino

Hi Jaroslav,

We were able to get the "Slave" file/code loaded on our Arduino Uno once we defined all the errors. We were then able to the get the blink example you provided to work. We are now just trying to familiarize ourselves with the function blocks. For now we are to just simulating some analog inputs and have basic ouputs.
I'll keep you posted on our progress.
