Alarm window in HMI

I created some alarms by means of the ALB & ALN function blocks and connected them onto a dedicated archive.

In Rexview I can see the alarms appear in the list but without description.....

Now I would like to see the alarms appear in the alarm window (right upper corner) of the HMI. But so far I have only seen system alarms.

Re: Alarm window in HMI

For now, there isn't a way how to see alarms in HMI alarm window.
The describtion of alarms in RexView is also on our ToDo list, but probably won't be implemented in upcoming release.

Cheers, Tomas

Re: Alarm window in HMI

The best workaround which we can think of for now is the one already mentioned in this post.

Re: Alarm window in HMI

Alternatively you can export the alarm/archive data to an external database and on top of it you can develop your own HMI using e.g. PHP+AJAX.

Re: Alarm window in HMI

The subsequent discussion about database connection has been moved to a separate topic.
